Kirchdorf/Haag, May 19, 2026 – Mounting systems for green roofs and the commercial & industrial sector, an enhanced Agri-PV solution, and a new Rafter system for ground-mounted installations: global solar mounting manufacturer Schletter Group will showcase several product innovations at this year’s Intersolar. The joint exhibition presence with the Enstall Group brings together the extensive Enstall brand portfolio at a single booth.
“We aim to provide our customers with the technically and economically optimal solution for every project requirement,” emphasizes Daniel Rehm, CEO of Schletter. “As part of the Enstall Group, we can draw on a highly comprehensive portfolio: with our own systems and the extensive Enstall lineup, we cover the full spectrum of PV installations – from utility-scale systems and Agri-PV solutions to commercial and residential rooftop projects.”
Utility-Scale: New Rafter System and Enhanced Agri-PV Solution
With a new Rafter system, Schletter is offering a preview of an upcoming product generation for the utility-scale sector. Designed as a slide-in solution, the system will be presented for the first time at Intersolar, with global market launch planned for 2027. Instead of placing and fastening modules from above, the system enables the vertical installation of up to three modules by a single installer using a guided slide-in mechanism. Pre-assembled self-locking clamps are attached to the support structure. The modules are inserted from below, while integrated locking mechanisms hold them securely in place. Final fastening can be completed from either above or below.
“This approach simplifies installation processes and reduces labor requirements on site,” says Rehm. The system geometry has also been designed to maximize exposure of the rear side of bifacial modules, significantly reducing backside shading. Schletter will also present an extension of its established Tracking System 1P for the Agri-PV market. In the future, the system will achieve a minimum ground clearance of 2.1 meters even at tilt angles of up to 60 degrees, thereby meeting a key requirement in many European Agri-PV funding and approval schemes. The increased clearance allows machinery, and personnel to pass beneath the system regardless of tracker position. At the same time, the greater distance between the lower edge of the module and the ground improves light distribution. The enhanced Tracking System 1P will be added to the standard product line later this year, and project-specific configurations are already available. Initial projects using the new system height are already operating in international markets.
Rooftop Systems: Solutions for Green Roofs and Updates to the “Schletter Creator”
In the rooftop segment, Schletter is showcasing an extension of its “FixGrid Pro” flat roof system for use on green roofs. The proven system is elevated using a single additional component: newly developed support sheet enable installation on green roof structures with installation heights of up to 35 centimeters.
“The overall system architecture remains unchanged,” emphasizes Stephan Wild, Commercial Director Residential and C&I DACH at Schletter. “For our customers, this means they can continue working with FixGrid Pro exactly as they know it – using the same components, familiar workflows, and fast, virtually tool-free installation. The new feature is the additional use case on green roofs.” The aerodynamic properties remain unchanged and have been validated through wind tunnel testing.
Schletter is also expanding its digital design tool, the “Schletter Creator,” to support additional roof configurations. The free browser-based software incorporates location-specific parameters such as wind and snow loads as well as roof geometries into the system design process. Schletter Creator enables 3D planning with Google Maps data, automatically determines roof areas with reduced input effort, and can be connected via API interfaces to inverter software as well as wholesalers through webshop integration.
New additions include expanded pitched-roof configurations, including variants for tiled roofs, trapezoidal sheet metal roofs, corrugated fiber cement roofs, and standing seam roofs. Different module orientations and rail configurations are supported, including landscape layouts with cross rails and portrait mounting with vertical rail orientation.
Tool-Free Flat Roof System: PanelClaw Wave
With the “Wave” mounting system from Enstall brand “PanelClaw,” the company is presenting an exceptionally fast and easy-to-install flat roof system at Intersolar. The system is primarily designed for commercial flat roof projects where large roof areas have to be covered quickly and reliably.
Unlike conventional solutions, the system does not require module clamps. This eliminates the need for tools and multiple installation steps, significantly accelerating installation. “In practice, this enables installation rates of around one megawatt per week,” says Manuel Schwarzmaier, Business Development Manager at PanelClaw (which, like Schletter, is part of the Enstall Group). An optional anchoring system can be integrated to create additional connections beneath the roof structure. This reduces ballast requirements and opens up additional application possibilities, for example on roofs with higher inclinations. The system is available in different versions, including configurations for varying snow load requirements. Alongside a standard version for low to medium loads, a pre-configured version for higher snow loads is available with additional load transfer elements. Project-specific system design is carried out using PanelClaw’s planning tool, which takes site-specific factors such as snow load zones into account.
